SELLERS FAQS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

By purchasing a stall space from Fab Finds Markets, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.  It is the seller's responsibility to read and understand the following Terms and Conditions.  No refunds are given due to a lack of knowledge of anything included in this Terms and Conditions document.

 

Fab Finds Markets is a second-hand fashion market. We aim to have over 40 stalls available at every event where independent stallholders will have pre-loved fashion for women, men and children available. You can sell your secondhand or new clothing, shoes and accessories by purchasing a stall space from us via our easy online ticketing system. We provide a clean, undercover indoor space or outdoor space and our valued individual sellers provide the items for sale.  

 

HOW DO I SELL AT FAB FINDS MARKETS: 

  • Purchase a stall space online via our easy online booking system - BOOK HERE

  • Stalls MUST be purchased before arriving at our market. 

  • Stalls are in high demand and sell out fast.

 

CAN I SHARE A STALL SPACE?  

  • Sure, the more, the merrier!  

  • You can have as many sellers that your purchased stall space will allow!  

  • We recommend no more than 2-3 sellers per large stall space.  Overflow is not allowed due to space constraints.  

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME AS A SELLER? 

  • A valid email address. A seller's guide with important information relating to selling with us will be emailed to you.

  • Name of the primary seller of the stall, important in cases of sharing stall space with a friend.

  • Sellers must advertise their stalls personally to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Gumtree, etc.

 

HOW MUCH IS AND WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY SELLERS FEE:  

  • All Outdoor stalls are $20 for a 3mx3m sellers space. I

  • There are 3 sizes to choose from. Indoor regular stalls are $35 for 2.5m x 2.5m. Indoor large stalls are $45 for a 2.5mx3m. Indoor XL stalls are $55 for a 2.5m x 4.5m sellers space, all include up to 2 chairs.

  • Space in Geebung Bowls Club Hall for inside stallholders.

  • A Seller's Guide will have vital information for the day with handy sellers tips.

  • Fab Finds Markets utilises street signage, social media accounts, online advertising, flyers etc., to advertise an event on behalf of sellers.

  • Bathroom/communal change area provided.  

  • Clearly marked, numbered selling space. 

  • If you have a special request due to accessibility requirements, you must advise us when booking, e.g., next to a friend, next to an exit or bathroom etc.  We will be unable to accommodate special requests if not advised at the time of booking.  

 

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN MY SELLERS FEE? 

  • Racks, tables, clothing hangers, display items, floor covering etc., unless otherwise advised.   

  • There are no covers supplied for outdoor stallholders e.g Gazebo

  • Bags, cash floats, signage 

  • Tables are for hire for $5 per table (2m long), and a limited number of clothes racks are available for $10 and $15 a rack. All must be booked online when booking a stall.

  • Insurance can be purchased at the time of booking for a small fee.

  • CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE SPACE? 

  • Yes, you can purchase multiple stalls and combine the space. 

  • If you purchase stalls in separate transactions, please advise via email info@fabfindsmarkets.com.au to ensure they are side by side.


I HAVE A BUSINESS, BUT IT'S NOT FASHION-BASED...CAN I SELL AT FAB FINDS MARKETS?   

  • Yes, but we limit business stalls at each event to keep a clear focus on fashion.   

  • Businesses are approved via an application process. Please contact us via email at info@fabfindsmarkets.com.au and tell us about you and your business.  

  • If we believe your business is a good fit, we will approve your stall, and you can purchase a stall to showcase your business on the day to our shoppers. We love to support the makers and creators too.

 

WHAT CAN I SELL AT FAB FINDS MARKETS? 

  • Second-hand clothing, shoes, hat's and accessories for women, men, children and babies.

  • These items can be brand new, preloved and in excellent/good condition, handmade or vintage.


WHAT CAN'T I SELL AT FAB FINDS MARKET? 

  • The QLD Government, Office of Fair Trading, administers a range of national mandatory safety and information standards and bans for particular products supplied in the consumer marketplace, including weekend markets. Standards apply to children’s toys, nursery furniture, nightwear, cosmetics and care labelling on clothing and textiles. 

  • Due to our insurance restrictions, sellers are prohibited from selling the following: used sleepwear, underwear or swimwear, makeup, cosmetics and or fragrances. Candle stall-holders require specific insurance. Full details of these regulated consumer products can be viewed and downloaded from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) website at www.productsafety.gov.au.

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO SELL?:

  • Bring along women, men, children's or baby clothes that are in excellent, very good saleable condition. 

  • No damage, rips, pulls, tears, splits, damage etc., to items you wish to sell.

  • Shoes and handbags with life left in them.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY SPACE?  

  • You can cancel your stall up to 5 days before the market date. 

  • You will be refunded the full cost of your stall minus any booking fees. No refunds will be accepted less than 5 days before the event date.

  • At its discretion, Fab Finds Markets may allow sellers to transfer their booking to another stall-holder with less than 5 days notice.

  • NO REFUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED LESS THAN 5 DAYS BEFORE ANY EVENT.

CAN I TRANSFER OR SELL MY STALL TO SOMEONE ELSE? 

  • Yes.  If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your space to someone else.  

  • It is your responsibility to email us at info@fabfindsmarkets.com.au with the new stallholders name and contact email.   

  • If you cannot attend, it is less than 5 days before the event, and you are unable to transfer your site, your seller fee is non-refundable.  

 

FAB FINDS RIGHT TO TERMINATE STALL SPACE: 

  • Failure to arrive on the day of the market is non-refundable. 

  • Fab Finds Markets reserve the right to terminate a stall at any given time either before or during the market if sellers: threaten, demonstrate inappropriate, disruptive or disrespectful behaviour to anyone, including Fab Finds Markets staff or the general public.

  • Failing to adhere to Fab Finds Markets terms and conditions, commit a criminal act whilst at our market, fail to arrive and set up in designated times or fail to comply with ACCC regulations and rules.


INSURANCE: 

  • Fab Finds Markets holds current Public Liability insurance of $10,000,000. 

  • All stallholders MUST hold a Public and Product Liability insurance policy to operate at market venues. If you are a casual stallholder and have not got insurance cover, Fab Finds Markets insurance policy can be extended to provide you as a stallholder, cover for Public and Product Liability insurance for the cost of $3 per market, paid at the time of booking.

 

FLOORING RULES:   

  • Any items bought into the hall must not scratch, mark or damage the hardwood floor.

  • Floor coverings, rugs are highly encouraged for aesthetic and protective reasons.   

  • Suitcases, clothing racks, boxes, with or without wheels, MUST BE PICKED UP AND CARRIED INTO VENUE. 

  • Damage to the venue’s flooring will not be tolerated and will be policed during the event.

  • Pop up tents, gazebos or any other temporary covered structures are NOT permitted INSIDE our venue. OUTDOORS only.

 

SAFETY:

  • Sellers agree to set up their stalls safely and securely to ensure the safety of sellers, the general public and Fab Finds Markets staff. 

  • Fab Finds Markets reserves the right to remove anything from the market that is deemed unsafe for sale. 

  • Fab Finds Markets is not responsible for any injury or accidents caused by sellers due to negligence to safely conduct themselves or their stall. 

  • Sellers and the general public are required to fill in an incident report if an incident occurs.

  • Gazebo's or other outside stall covers must be secured by using leg weights or sandbags.  

 

FAB FINDS MARKETS LIMIT OF RESPONSIBILITY: 

  • Fab Finds Markets is in no way responsible for your items selling and how much money sellers can or will make at any given event. 

  • Fab Finds Markets provides a venue to sell your items, a well organised, professional event and advertising to potential shoppers via social media and other channels.

  • We are not responsible for any financial returns to individual sellers on the day.

  • Elements out of our control, such as weather, competing events and low shopper numbers.

  • Fab Finds is a market event, and we cannot guarantee the shopper turnout of any event. 

  • No refunds are given if a low attendance is recorded. 

  • The seller acknowledges the risk of having a market stall, and by purchasing a stall ticket, sellers agree to this and all terms and conditions.

 

SELLER SECURITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sellers are responsible for their own stall security, monies and stock. 

  • Fab Finds Markets take no responsibility for theft, loss or damage.

  • Take ALL rubbish with you or place it in the bins provided.

  • Do not begin packing up before 11.30 AM unless advised by Fab Finds Staff or you have a personal emergency.

  • By booking a stall from Fab Finds Markets, sellers are aware of the size, requirements,  obligations and Terms and conditions of stall purchases as listed in this document.
